LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort Celebrates World Friendship Day With LEGO Friends
Resort introduces its live dance show with one of LEGO® most popular line-up
ISKANDAR PUTERI, 12 July 2019 – LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort is inviting Malaysians to meet Olivia, Emma, Stephanie, Mia and Andrea, the LEGO Friends, a core reality-based LEGO play theme from the LEGO Friends TV series. The girls have travelled all the way from Heartlake City to make new friends and treat their guests to a high-energy live performance at the theme park.
During the 20-minute show, fans can catch Andrea, the main character as she gets ready for the annual Heartlake City concert. The whole family is encouraged to cheer and join in the action in the LEGO Friends build up and preparation for the big show!
The all-singing, all-dancing production features LEGO Friend’s hit songs such as “BFF” and “Friends are Forever” with interactive sing-along moments where the audience is encouraged to join in with some dance moves. Audiences will be immersed into the world of Heartlake City with the latest projection technology such as visual mapping.
“July is the perfect month to introduce LEGO Friends to our park because it will be just in time for us to celebrate World Friendship Day with our new friends. We have collaborated closely with the LEGO Friends brand to create activities that will enable learning about friendship through play. Through friendships, children are able to learn more about themselves, develop their own identity and positive social skills from an early age,” said Kurt Stocks, General Manager at LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort.
“The LEGO Friends line was created specifically to suit the style of play and imaginative creativity preferred by girls. The toys, shows and activities built around the brand are focused on providing children with more role play opportunities. With that, we felt that adding the LEGO Friends into our show line-up and park activities are in line with our efforts to ensure that there is something for everyone, including girls that visit our park. We are always looking to introduce new offerings to continue to be the ultimate family destination in the region,” he added.

LEGO Friends revolves around the everyday lives and personalities of the five girls in Heartlake City. These girls team up together to help their new friends to make the world a better place. Each girl portrays their unique personality of being loud, goofy, creative, loving, adventurous and caring, reflecting how true friendship with a beautiful heart means.
During their visit to LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort, families should keep a lookout for character appearances throughout the park. Fans can get to know their favourite LEGO Friends through fun activities such as Heart Building Activity and Super Friends Fun Find.

The LEGO Friends LIVE Show happens every day at 11.00am, 1.00pm, 3.00pm and 5.00pm in the LEGO City Stage. Visitors can purchase the Triple-Park annual pass on the LEGOLAND’s official website to enjoy the all new LEGO Friends LIVE Show.
