Iconic Tastes of SDS Ramadhan Meal Delighting Muslimin and Muslimat

SDS introduces an array of Ramadhan treats for all Muslims during fasting month this year.

JOHOR BAHRU, 3/5/2019 – As Ramadhan dawns, many diners are planning where to break their fast and celebrate family’s gathering moments. In the most holy months in a year, SDS is bringing a variety of Ramadhan meals, to fulfil customers with festive dining experiences, as well as range of stunning Raya hampers, cookies, and Kuih Lapis embracing the joy of festive gift giving.

Exciting dining offerings for fast breaking introduced by SDS this year have included four choices of traditional Malay favourites, filled with local emblematic blue rice, Nasi Kerabu in each dish. SDS customers are able to savour “Sambal Hijau Whole Leg”, “Ayam Berempah”, “Rendang Chicken”, or “Ikan Bakar (Tilapia)” as main dish in each meal. Ranges from RM16.90++ to RM18.90++, each meal comes with tasty chicken satay, fried boiled egg, crispy keropok, acar (sour mixed vegetables), fried tauge, and warm soup. Moreover, SDS Ramadhan special meals are completed with refreshing notes. Four beverages selections included “Iced Bandung Soya”, “Iced Lemon Tea”, “Iced Kurma Milk” which is also known as the newest beverage ever had at SDS Café, and also “Iced Teh Tarik” are available for SDS customers.

“We have crafted this special Ramadhan menu for our customers to reminisce precious dining moments spent with families and friends, and pampering themselves with finger licking, enticing traditional food in this Holy Month,” said Ms. Rachel Liem, Marketing Manager of SDS.

According to Ms. Rachel, SDS has also introduced Ramadhan Take Away menu. There are five selections, ranging from RM6.90 onwards for people breaking the fast with family at home. Delectable choices including “Mushroom Aglio Olio”, “Golden Fish Fillet Aglio Olio”, “Chicken Bolognese”, “Carbonara”, and “Grilled Chicken Chop Aglio Olio” are available for busy working people to break fast easier and more convenient.

SDS Ramadhan meal and Take Away menu are available from 3^rd May to 14^th June 2019 at any SDS outlets located at The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey, Plaza Pelangi, Taman Pelangi, Desaru, AEON Tebrau City (FANPEKKA Café), Taman Johor Jaya, City Square, Kota Tinggi, Taman Perling, AEON Kulaijaya, AEON Bandar Dato’ Onn, Taman Universiti, Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru, KSL City, and AEON Bukit Indah.

As Raya approaching, shoppers began to shop for essential festive items. This year, SDS has introduced nine selections of Raya cookies packed in attractive Raya theme tin, suitable to be served during gatherings or to be presented as festive gift during Raya. Ranges from RM28.80 to RM34.80, all-time favourites cookies including Nyonya Pineapple Cookies, Chocolate Cookies, Peanut Cookies, Raisin Oat Cookies, Makmor Cookies, Mexico Cheese, and three new creations for Raya snacking, Salted Egg Potato Chips, Almond and Seed Crisp and Hazelnut Chocolate Cookies are available at selected SDS outlets on 14^th May onwards.

Apart from cookies, SDS has introduced tasty Kuih Lapis for Raya celebrations. Traditional Kuih Lapis introduced by SDS including Prune Kuih Lapis, Pandan Kuih Lapis and original Kuih Lapis are available from RM38.80 to RM75.80.

“Hari Raya is the best time to send regards to friends and relatives, as well as visit those we’re unable to meet often.” Ms. Rachel added.

Raya hampers dominated by crunchy cookies, wrapped in exquisite Raya theme packaging are definitely the best choice to be given away during home visits. SEDULANG NASI AMBENG PENYAMBUT BULAN RAMADHAN

Alhamdulilah , malam tadi aku sempat juga menghadirkan diri ke Majlis Yassin Perdana anjuran Kejiranan Rukun Tetangga di kawasan rumah aku. Aku rasa ralat sangat sebab tak dapat bergotong-royong pada sebelah pagi sebabnya aku ada food review. Kalau ditanya masih ada lagi kah suasana jiran yang harmoni di bandar? Jawapan aku Ya! Ada dikawasan rumah aku. Aku rasa bersyukur sangat sebab makcik-makcik dekat sini sangat sporting.

Jadinya, sebagai menyambut bulan Ramadhan yang tinggal beberapa hari , kami sepakat untuk mengadakan Majlis Yassin Perdana. Acara majlis dimulakan selepas magrib membaca yassin , dan solat berjemaah Isyak dan sebagai penutup majlis kami dijamu dengan makan berdulang Nasi Ambeng. Nama pun orang Johor , mestilah makan Nasi Ambeng! Makan berdulang ni memang menjadi kebiasaan adat disini.

Selain itu , kami juga dijamu dengan pencuci mulut seperti kurma , karipap serta murtabak. Ya Allah, aku rasa seronok sangat tengok makcik-makcik ni organize program untuk komuniti. Kebajikan terutama sekali bab makan memang paling power dan tip top. Komfom sedap dan siap boleh tapau bawak balik ke rumah. Hahaha. Tak lupa juga ade terselit bubur lambuk.

Tapi, aku rasa sebak juga tadi bila part baca kan Al-Fatihah dan disebut nama satu satu jiran yang telah meninggal. Dan nama itu disebut.. Nama arwah ibu ku. Hmm.. Ibu! Semoga ibu bahagia disana okay.😪💛
